Google has launched its payment system in the UK. For small businesses like myself who only run a small shop as a sideline this maybe a viable alternative to the
Paypal option.
Paypal is still untrusted by a lot of my customers who prefer to give details over the phone.
Will Google fair any better with customer trust online? time will tell i suppose, however it looks like a cheaper option for me (in terms of fees as
Google is offering free transaction processing until the end of the year) so I'll be spending some computer time to updating the
marionette pages to
accommodate the new buttons.
